Preamble
The user acknowledges that he/she has been informed that Yassir collects certain personal data concerning him/her, which is subject to appropriate processing, in compliance with the provisions of the laws relating to the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data of the eligible countries listed below:
Algeria: Law 18-07 of 10-06-2018 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data.
Morocco: Dahir n° 1-09-15 of 22 safar 1430 (February 18, 2009) promulgating law n° 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
Tunisia: Law no. 2004-63 of July 27, 2004 on the protection of personal data.

Definition and Nature of Personal Data
When using our website and/or the Yassir application, you may be asked to provide us with personal data about yourself.
The term "personal data" includes all information relating to a user who can be identified, directly or indirectly, as defined by the applicable legislation.
The terms “Users,” “E-consumers,” and “Contributors” refer to any person using Yassir’s websites and/or applications.
The terms “Yassir,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the data controller.
Yassir is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the data and to protecting the information entrusted to it. In line with its fundamental obligations, Yassir undertakes to implement an appropriate level of protection for the personal data collected online from users.
As a general rule, Yassir collects only the personal data voluntarily provided by users of our applications and/or websites, with the aim of enabling them to benefit from all the services offered.
Each user is invited to consult this online Privacy Policy to learn more about how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal data obtained from them.
This Privacy Policy applies to all Yassir Users in the eligible countries listed above, unless they are using a service covered by a separate privacy policy.

We may collect various categories of personal data about you, depending on the nature and purpose of the processing carried out.
In any case, we are committed to collecting and processing only the data strictly necessary for the purposes of the data processing we carry out, as detailed below. The information we may collect includes, in particular:
E-consumers
1. User Profile Information
Yassir collects these data when users create or update their account. They may include: name, email address, phone number, login ID, and password.
2. Location Data
Yassir collects precise or approximate location data from E-consumers’ mobile devices, if they allow this collection in their device settings. Location data is used:
- During the ride order until it is completed.
- After the ride for verification purposes.
- After the ride for security measures.
3. Ride Data
Yassir collects information related to the use of services, including:
- Type of service provided.
- Ride details: date and time, pickup and destination addresses, distance traveled.
- Payment information: transaction amount and payment method used.
4. Device Data
Yassir also collects information about the devices used to access the services, such as device model, IP address or other unique identifier, operating system and version, installed software, and display language.
Service Providers / Drivers (Intervenants)
1. User Profile Information
Yassir collects data when users create or update their account. These data may include:
- Name, email address, phone number, login ID, and password.
- Address, profile photo.
- Driver’s license or other official documents (which may include identification number, date of birth).
- Vehicle information: model, type, color, year, etc.
2. Location Data
Yassir collects precise or approximate location data from users’ mobile devices when the application is running:
- Foreground: the app is open and visible on the screen.
- Background: the app is open but not visible on the screen.
Collection is done only if users authorize it in their device settings.

- Foreground: the app is open and visible on the screen.

Collection is done only if users authorize it in their device settings.

Purpose of the Collection of Personal Data
Yassir undertakes to use your data exclusively in connection with the services offered on the Yassir application and/or website, in particular:
- Managing your access to services available on the Yassir website and applications, as well as their usage;
- Carrying out operations related to customer management, such as contracts, orders, deliveries, invoices, loyalty programs, and customer relationship follow-up;
- Creating a database of registered members;
- Sending newsletters, promotional solicitations, and marketing messages, with the option to unsubscribe at any time;
- Compiling commercial and usage statistics of services;
- Managing user reviews of products, services, or content;
- Handling unpaid balances and any potential disputes related to the use of the service;
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations;
- Generating marketing and advertising services, including the sending of emails, SMS, push notifications, and other promotional or advertising communications about Yassir products, services, features, offers, promotions, news, and events;
- Providing user support and information regarding estimated arrival times and trip tracking to facilitate service delivery;
- Responding to user inquiries (such as contact requests), unless prior consent is required or allowed by law or professional standards;
- Personalizing the user experience when users provide preference information;
- In the case of registration or login via a third-party single sign-on service, identifying you as a single user across all devices you use, in order to personalize your experience across all Yassir applications and/or websites.
When collecting your personal data, we will inform you whether certain data is mandatory or optional, and the possible consequences of failing to provide it.
- Data Sharing with Other Users
1. E-consumer / Ride Recipient
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle, photo, settings and preferences, location (before and during the ride), total number of rides.
These details are shared only to provide the requested service.
2. Restaurants / Merchants
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle information, profile photo, location before pickup, location during delivery (Yassir).
These details are shared for the execution of deliveries and calculation of referral earnings.
3. Client Companies
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle information, profile photo, location.
These details are shared when rides or deliveries are made on behalf of a client company.
Legal Bases for Processing
In general, Yassir only collects personal data that is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described in this privacy policy.
When processing your personal data in accordance with the purposes outlined in Article 5, we rely on one of the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract: When the processing of your personal information is necessary to fulfill our obligations under a contract to which you are a party.
Legal obligation: When we are required to process your personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation, including for archival purposes in accordance with fiscal regulations or for disclosure to a public body or law enforcement authority.
Legitimate interests: When processing is in our legitimate interest to efficiently manage our business, in accordance with the law, provided that such interests do not override your own rights and interests.
Your consent: In some cases, we may request your specific consent to process certain personal data, and we will process it solely for the purposes to which you have agreed.
Recipients of Collected Data
Our company personnel, as well as subcontractors (where applicable), may have access to your data for the purposes outlined in Article 5 of this policy.
Yassir partners may also receive your data in the context of any marketing activities, co-branding initiatives, or actions intended to reward the user, such as contest selections. In such cases, Yassir will ensure you are informed and your consent is obtained.
Public authorities may also receive your personal data, but exclusively in order to fulfill our legal obligations.
- Transfer of Data Abroad
Certain personal data may be transferred to affiliated companies, partners, or service providers located outside of Algeria in order to ensure the provision, improvement, and security of our services, as well as compliance with legal obligations. These transfers are carried out with appropriate protective measures in accordance with the data protection laws of each eligible country. For certain sensitive data, your explicit consent may be required before the transfer. You can exercise your rights of access, correction, objection, and deletion at any time.
- Retention Period of Personal Data
Yassir retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. The period for which we retain user data depends on the type of data, the user category to which it relates, and the purposes for which it was collected.
The duration of data retention by Yassir may also be determined by legal and regulatory requirements, as well as for reasons of safety, security, fraud prevention, or issues related to the user’s account, such as outstanding payments, claims, or unresolved disputes.
Regarding data related to customer and prospect management:
Your personal data will not be retained beyond the period strictly necessary for managing our commercial relationship with you and/or the time required to fulfill the contract between the parties, as well as to achieve the purposes specified in Article 05 above. However, data necessary to establish proof of a right or a contract, which must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, will be kept for the period provided by the applicable law.
Regarding audience measurement statistics:
Information stored on the user's device or any other element used to identify users and track their visits will not be retained beyond the time necessary to fulfill the contract between the parties and to achieve the purposes set out in Article 04 above.
Users may request the deletion of their account at any time. Yassir may retain user data following such a request in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations.
Security
We would like to inform you that we take all necessary precautions, and implement appropriate organizational and technical measures, to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal data. These measures are specifically designed to prevent your data from being altered, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
In the event of any intrusion, damage, and/or loss of your data, Yassir is committed to notifying you and taking the necessary steps to investigate and resolve the issue.
Cookies
Cookies are text files, often encrypted, that are stored in your browser. They are created when a user's browser loads a specific website: the website sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same website, the browser retrieves this file and sends it back to the website's server.
There are two main types of cookies, each with distinct purposes: technical cookies and advertising cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies. However, should we decide to use them in the future, you would be informed in advance and given the option to disable them.
We use or may use Google Analytics, a statistical tool for audience measurement, which generates a cookie to track the number of visits, page views, and visitor activity on the site. Your IP address is also collected to determine the city from which you are connecting.
Please note that you can block cookies by configuring your browser settings. However, doing so may affect the proper functioning of the website.
Integration of Analytics and Feedback Collection Tools into the Application
As part of our commitment to providing an optimal user experience, the Yassir Super App integrates advanced technological tools into its Android and iOS versions to analyze usage and gather user feedback.
13.1 Integrated Tools
Among the solutions that may be used, by way of illustration:
- In-app survey tools, allowing the launch of contextual surveys to better understand user expectations and perceptions;
- Behavioral analytics solutions, enabling anonymized session recording and journey visualization through heatmaps.
These tools are deployed in compliance with data minimization and privacy principles.
13.2 Objectives of Data Processing
The data collected through these tools aim to:
- Gather real-time qualitative feedback;
- Identify users’ expressed priority needs;
- Detect friction points or areas of improvement in the user experience;
- Adapt app flows and functionalities based on actual usage;
- Guide decisions related to the product’s functional evolution.
13.3 Purposes of Processing
The implemented data processing serves specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, such as:
- The continuous improvement of user experience and interface usability;
- The optimization of features offered within the application;
- The occasional launch of embedded surveys to collect user feedback and inform product developments.
- Consent
By choosing to provide your personal data, you expressly consent to Yassir collecting and using it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable laws and regulations.
You expressly consent to the company transmitting your data to its subcontractors, particularly in relation to the signing of your electronic contract through secure online platforms. Users are encouraged to consult the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of these platforms.
You also expressly consent to the company, upon the creation of your profile in the Yassir applications, transmitting your phone number to one of its service providers.
You give your explicit consent to receive all types of notifications (alerts, SMS, emails), including through any messaging application and/or platform linked to your phone number (such as WhatsApp, Viber, etc.) from the Yassir application.

- User Rights
15.1 Right of Access, Rectification, Objection, and Deletion
You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting the addresses listed in Article 03 of this Privacy Policy.
Please note that any individual may, on legitimate grounds, object to the processing of their personal data.
15.2 Right to File a Complaint
The user is informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority for any breach relating to the processing of personal data, in accordance with the applicable regulations in each eligible country mentioned in the preamble. However, the user is encouraged to contact us first before submitting a complaint to the data protection authority.
- Modifications
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy, without prejudice to the laws applicable in each of the eligible countries mentioned in the preamble.
Such modifications will take effect upon the publication of the new policy. Your continued use of the website and/or applications following the effective date of these changes constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the new policy. If you do not agree with the new policy, you must stop accessing the website and/or application.
